Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC)

Who is BBNC?

Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) is a responsible Alaska Native investment corporation dedicated to the mission of “Enriching Our Native Way of Life.” Established through the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 (ANCSA), BBNC works to ensure the continuation of the life and culture of its over 9,000 shareholders—the Eskimo, Indian and Aleut Natives of Southwest Alaska’s Bristol Bay region.

BBNC’s foundation is based on their land and their shareholders. Founders took their knowledge of the land and culture and built BBNC into a diversified corporation. BBNC has and continues to be a major contributor to Alaska’s economy. Bristol Bay Native Corporation has become involved as owner or investor in numerous business enterprises from information technology personnel services, environmental activities, fuels management, to the oil industry. Bristol Bay’s family of companies accounts for thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in annual payroll.

Being a wholly-owned subsidiary of BBNC allows Vista Tech to tap into the specialized talents and financial strength offered by our parent company, which represents thousands of employees and shareholders.
